PORTRAITURE ARTIST, HAMPSHIRE

Ros Ingram Portrait illustration with pets and child faces

HAND DRAWN PENCIL & PAINTED PORTRAITS

Mainly working in graphite / colour pencils or acrylic paints, I love undertaking a portrait commission from photographs to capture a special moment (including wedding day memories) on paper or canvas - or a characterful face - human or animal! I am touched when I am trusted to create a memorial portrait of a beloved pet that has passed away - a special keepsake to keep their memory alive for years to come. To get started just send me your good, clear photos - I can leave out unwanted backgrounds or merge several photographs together (as long as angles/lighting are similar). I will work closely with you to understand your needs and preferences, and create a timeless piece of art that captures the essence of the animal or person. Alternatively, you can order through my Not on the High Street or Etsy shop - links are in the footer below. In my spare time I like to play around with new mediums and to explore different styles and techniques to create something new and original. I love traditional art - creating something tangible that is sometimes messy to create. And I also love the versitility of digital art created on my drawing tablet - it is usually quick to create and mistakes are much easier to rectify! I like to share my tips and techniques and have had step-by-step art articles printed in Leisure Painter Magazine. My artwork is available at various galleries where I also sell art greeting cards.
